    Wonderful!!

    I am so happy with this purchase! I should have done it ages ago! I finally have everything in one place from my daily tasks and appointments to games and books. I was previously a kindle user for years but was deterred when I upgraded to the Fire. The battery couldn't keep up with me and after awhile the screen would hurt my eyes and I would get headaches... I didn't think I would necessarily love to read on the iPad because of the size....but it's like I'm a kid all over again! I finally have gotten to read books that have been on my list for years! I'm reading all day everyday again or finishing emails, IG, Facebook, YouTube or journaling. The battery life is simply amazing. It lasts triple the time of my Samsung galaxy note and my kindle. It's freeing not to have to worry about plugging it in every night. As it stands, I use my iPad pretty consistently throughout the day and it still only requires charging every other to every the days. As someone with a history or migraines, I really appreciate the Retina display and am so grateful I decided to go for the new model rather than save money on previous generations. This really was a great investment for me to make. Now I don't have to stress over upgrading to a new laptop. I do still use it for miscellaneous projects, but I no longer feel the need to use it everyday since the iPad.

    iPad Air 2 gold simply amazing!

    I went from the iPad mini first generation to this, the iPad Air 2 gold color way. I am in love with my iPad Air 2. Besides the great gold color finish, it sure is convenient. Turns on quick, and away I go to search the web for Jordan retro shoes, Jordan gear, or new band for my Apple Watch. It loads videos fast. Screen resolution is crisp and clear. It's bright and I barely have it at quarter level for brightness. I love watching Netflix on it, next to my bed at night. Also use it to fall asleep to music from Apple Music. It's sleek and not bulky to carry around with a STM slim case, which I also bought from eBay. Very happy with my iPad Air 2 purchase. If your not willing to shell out close to a thousand bucks for the new iPad pro...this is by far a great buy for your buck. Ebay has great bidding war deals, and you could be lucky like me, and get one for less than half of the price.

    Not as good as my last one ... But I still love it!

    The battery doesn't last as long as I am used to in iPads (this is my 4th). Perhaps because it is the cellular version and my last was wi-if only. The bigger issue is with the keyboard. It skips letters and doesn't put in my letters as fast as I type them. So I constantly have to go back and edit what I have written. I am a pretty fast typist, even with the touch pad keyboard, but you would think it could keep up with me. It is pretty frustrating and makes everything I do take longer. Also when I try to select a sentence or word to cut or copy, it doesn't easily make the selection. I have to push and push and push. Eventually it gets it but again, takes time and patience. My last iPad did not have that problem. Still a great product but those are problems I I hope they can improve before I need to buy another one.

    Excellent Product

    I am happy with this purchase. I bought this i Pad because I will be staying on an Island in Maine for a week and will attend an art workshop. I bought this i Pad so that I don't have to carry my laptop. The iPad is thin, light weight and has so many functions that are helpful. Primarily, rather than using the small screen on my smart phone, this i Pad takes great photos.I need these photos for painting. If there is not a printer available at the cottage where I will be staying, the screen size of the i Pad is large enough for easy viewing. Also, I will need access to my e mails and again I can have this with my i Pad. There are many more uses with the i Pad and I am so glad that I bought it. My i Pad works well and will certainly be p[ut to use on this trip.

    Quality Product at an Attractive Price

    The Apple Air 2 is great product with vivid clarity, long battery life and quick response. Please note, however, that it is on the thin size, giving the impression that it is more fragile than earlier thicker models. To combat this I purchased an UAG military grade cover/case and a Tech Armour tempered glass protector screen. I also initially experienced a problem with it switching back and forth between my home Wi-Fi and my Bluetooth Cell phone connection. This problem was resolved working with Apple Support and a factory setting reset as instructed by them. I also rebooted my home modem which may have been the cause to begin with. In any event, it has worked flawlessly since then. We have 3 iPads and 2 iPhones in our household and swear by them. I highly recommend this latest acquired Apple product.

    First Apple product

    I have using a SS T4 for years and have no complaints, however so many of my acquaintance's are using Apple phones and tabs I thought I would give it a try. Now I am way past the official retirement age but had lots of practice with tabs. So was somewhat easy to set up, you know with Apple got to have an account and that 6 digit password so got pass that and into what it does. It does everything for me just fine. This tab is without phone gear. The screen is very brilliant and the ios moves from page to page quickly. Of course it comes with all the Apple stuff apps and more than I will ever use. It is light and with a good case for protection still not too heavy.

    iPad 2

    Don't listen when they say the new "$329" iPad is better than the Air 2 that was sadly discontinued in March. The Air 2 is basically the same as the iPad Pro. Companies are in business to make money so they cut costs and make cheaper products. This is exactly what Apple has done and I'm not knocking the new iPad but the iPad Air 2 is much nicer until they stop supporting the IOS which will happen but not anytime soon. Best Buy had the Air 2 on sale for $300 but they sold out fast. Now if you can find a 32gb for $350 it's still a great value. Read the reports and find out yourself why the Air 2 is better. Very fast with a beautiful display. Love it!

    Well worth the upgrade

    I was working with a iPad Air and upgraded to the iPad Air 2--I use two very graphic intensive apps that lagged on the gen 1 air, that are now much smoother and responsive on the Air 2. I realize that's not quantitative, and if I could provide that data I would. Qualitatively, it's substantially better. Everything just happens noticeably quicker. The A8X definitely outshines the A7. The thiner profile is also noticeable and quite nice. Fingerprint recognition works better than my 5s as well. Haven't used Apple pay yet, and lastly the unlocked out of the box rocks. I travel to Europe and the ability to pop an new "Apple" sim in and pay as I go is totally worth the price of admission.

    still good tablet for general use.

    the air 2 is a good unit. if you can get one for under 120.00 you have something. well made with bonded screen and faster processor than air one. for normal duty i find it works great. much better than air one, witch i still own and sometimes lags on me. this unit seldom does. for 20 or 30 dollars more, get the air 2. double the unit and that cool fingertip security feature. the first generation ipad pro should also be considered for about 50 to 70 dollars more. faster processor and more ram plus apple pencil capable. that's a lot for about a third more. just saying.

    Air 2

    So far I've only had it for a few days but it is so much faster than my older iPad which is a second-generation the graphics are phenomenal on my games the chip is fast I can't believe the difference it makes and it is so much lighter than my GEN two. I am really enjoying this iPad I also use it for my photography when I'm out on the field I have something to upload to when I come home I can download it onto my lap top for the price I paid well worth it I didn't look at the iPad Pro but they were very expensive.
