Nissan Xterra Headlights

Nissan Xterra headlight models include factory styles, projector designs, daytime running lights, and fog lights. Different types of bulbs can be used to fuel each style. Cleaning your headlights regularly will help them to stay maximally efficient.

Nissan Xterra factory style headlights are typically made with clear lenses and lightly colored bezels to keep light as white and bright as possible, regardless of the type of bulb used. They include a variety of different shapes and silhouettes. Individualized models provide options for different colored bezels and lenses. Some are clear or lightly colored like factory models while others may be gray or tinted a darker hue.

Xterra projector designs include DRL bar lights, LED headlights, and halo lights. These styles allow focused light to illuminate terrain even further in front of a vehicle. These are ideal for non-ideal weather conditions such as darkness, snow, and precipitation in general. Xterra halo models include bright beams in a circle around a main headlight. DRL bar designs use the same technology except one streamlined bar over the main light. LED headlights include LED bulbs and use a variety of different shapes.

• Nissan Xterra fog lights are located low on the vehicle and can be used to see when conditions are especially hazy. LED, incandescent, and halogen bulbs are all headlight possibilities. LED bulbs are relatively small and use eco-friendly technology to burn a white hue brightly for longer than a typical bulb. Incandescent bulbs are the most typical of light bulb designs. Their shine is often slightly more yellow, and bulbs are larger than LEDs. Halogen light bulbs have a quartz capsule in the middle that houses the filament and are remarkably bright.

Xterra headlights can be cleaned as part of your regular washing routine. If you choose to clean headlights separately, mix a solution of warm water and soap, and apply it to the headlights with a soft sponge. When they are clean, rinse them with clean water, and dry them with a soft cloth, taking care not to scratch the surfaces.
