    Great previous generation option

    This is a review of the Samsung S8+ (used purchase on Ebay). 1) Setup: easy and quick...no problems. It also updated to Android Oreo 8.0 immediately after setting up the phone. 2) The Samsung Experience 8.0 is very good, best version of "touchwiz" so far. I like it about as good as any other skin or launcher (though Nova Launcher is my favorite). 3) Performance: phone is very snappy and easy to use. With the snapdragon 835 it performs well, at least for my "office" type use. I've played very little with games, but the few I did--they did well, not skips, jumps or lag. 4) Battery Life: a little disappointing. I am a heavy social/video/GPS user and it drains battery pretty quick due to screen on-time. Regular use, I can make a whole day on one charge...but heavy video use pushes me to do a partial charge in the mid afternoon. 5) Memory: nothing to complain about here. 6) BLOATWARE: my most hated area of ALL smartphones. The Verizon variant (as well as all carrier variants) come pre-loaded with a massive amount of bloatware. Would be nice if Samsung had a quick and simple way to uninstall/diasable all these non-value added apps. 7) Price-to-performace: I give it a solid 5stars. The reason for 5/5 stars is due to purchase of used and previous generation device. I would not spend full $$$ for new S8+ though, even though I love my device.

    Samsung Galaxy s8

    The phone was good overall and I enjoy the features that it has. It's been 3 months and I'm still learning features on this phone. My only issue is that a couple of weeks ago there was an alert on the phone stated that there was moisture detected in the charging port (which I believe is a false alert). However, I can't charge the phone through the USB-C connection when that alert pops up. Luckily this device has a Qi-wireless feature which allows me an alternative to charging. At the same time that will work sometimes and when that happens I am able to use the USB-C port. The battery is general great However, I have almost 250 apps and when I open several of them my battery will die within the day.

    One thing wrong

    I like the phone. Has a help button and more than one way to protect it from others. Only one thing wrong, I have not been able to find a defender case nor any other kind that encloses the whole phone. Good size but needs cases that covers that encloses all of the phone. That is the only flaw I have found so far.

    Excellent phone

    The only negative I ever heard about this phone was that the home button was on the back. When I grabbed the phone for the first time, my index finger naturally went to the exact location before even knowing about this change. Lol. The phone is an 12/10. It's fast and beautiful. There is nothing negative I can say about it. Great buy!!

    Samsung S8+ is really +++++

    I love this phone. I used to have a S2 long time ago I knew the samsung quality but this phone is above my expectations. The super screen colors, fast response, how you feel it on hand, battery life is really good. I bought it new on 2019 even is 2 years old technology to me is awesome.

    Great phone!

    Ordered this to replace my Nexus 6P and happy I did. Screen is beautiful, snappy response, and the move back to external memory expansion is great. The only thing I don't like is the placement of the fingerprint sensor, but it becomes more manageable with the installation of a case.

    Great phone

    The phone is great. Only issue is the fingerprint reader is on the back, which is awkward and can get in the way of wallet cases. Other than that, battery life is phenomenal, screen is beautiful. No issues with functionality; highly recommend as an upgrade and over iPhone.

    Great phone

    I love this phone! It has an amazing battery life, takes great pictures; to the point where my iPhone friend users ask me to take pictures for them with my S8. The phone operates quick and smooth, I love that you can add external memory.

    A beautiful phone

    The S8+ IS definitely a step up for Samsung. I'm glad I didn't spend extra on the S9, cause the S8+ IS a wonderful device. The camera is amazing and Samsung's processing for each photo is much better than before. An excellent device.

    Long Battery Life

    Absolutely love everything about my Galaxy s8 plus.. I am amazed at how long the battery lasted without needing 2 be charged. I went 64 hours without charging it. Even at that point I still had 37% battery life left..
