    Perfect (almost!) tablet

    This is the fourth tablet I've gone through in my search for a replacement for my defunct Galaxy Tab 4. I thought it was perfect until the battery died! That's another story. But as I said, I've gone through three prior attempts from other manufacturers, and they all suffered from such defects as an unreadably dark screen, very poor screen resolution, too little RAM (SLOW and prone to freeze), etc. Granted they were all cheaper than the Samsung, but still... Those are pretty basic functional elements that it seems to me every tablet should have. So, once again, I was forced to return to Samsung. And I'm so glad I did! I'm thrilled to return to the bright, high-resolution display, and the familiar Samsung functionality. But what really surprised me was how fast it is even compared to the Tab 4. It just zips through tasks, opens websites with minimal delays, and isn't bothered by multi-tasking. I don't know what the difference is, because it has the same amount of RAM. Also happy with the weight and size, which I believe is just slightly lighter than the Tab 4 and is easy to hold for reading. Oh, and I forgot the battery life! At the beginning, the Tab 4 had decent battery life, but the Tab E is much better. I can go through a whole day without charging it, which wasn't the case for the Tab 4. The seller was excellent, shipped right away and I actually got it sooner than the shipping estimate. Was well-packaged and in new condition. There was a little wear on the box, but that wasn't a big deal considering I got such a good price. At some point, I may get it unlocked so I can use the phone functionality with my T-Mobile account, but at this point, the WIFI is sufficient. Very happy.

    Good tablet for price

    I use this tablet for movies and navigation. I use copilot app as it has standalone GPS function (as long as the tablet has a GPS built in), so it does not require service. It takes getting use to it for coming from a fast tablet to this. It's not the top end, but far from the worst in its price range. In fact I have not found any that can top it in this price range. When I'm browsing the navigation map confirming my routing, it delays a sec or two, but once your use to it, you really forget about it and it's not bothersome. I do have a high end Samsung note 2014 edition and this one does not compare to that one, but it's not far behind. I do recommend if you need something that is solid and great response speed, not excellent response speed, but great. It plays my movies HD movies well, which I use mxplayer with the all in one codec pack. The only thing to get use to that is more annoying is the fact it's on marshmallow, so if your not use to that, that will be the most stubborn thing.

    Another Great Samsung Tablet

    I loved everything about it. I don't have money for data so I went into the system and turned off all the ATT features and just use it as a tablet. I still miss my Galaxy tab 4 but I had to have more memory and I feel that this was a great replacement. Cons: -you can't change how the clock looks on the lock screen. -you can't remove the "no sim card" icon if you don't use a sim card. -the camera's standard view is blurry until you tap the screen or take the picture, then it will auto focus. The problem with that is that now I can't do check deposits to my bank from my tablet. Suncoast credit union's app cannot access the AF feature of the camera and since the standard view is blurry the bank won't accept any of your photos. I had the same problem with my Galaxy Tab 2 years ago. After much conversation I was told that they plan on fixing the problem as it is a common one that many have complained about.

    Very good, basic tablet

    I used to own an iPad. This is not as cool as that, but it's an excellent device. Good battery life, plenty of apps available, good (not great screen), and modern android OS. But the price? Less than an fifth of my iPad cost. I could buy five of these things. Maybe i will :)

    Very good tablet

    Tablet works very good- battery life is good and screen resolution and brightness are good. Only thing I don't like about is that it won't cast to chromecast and it doesn't have a mini HDMI outlet. That would have made it just about perfect.

    Large good screen for a fair price.

    Large display is perfect for watching videos. One thing I would change is the speaker location. The only speaker on the back so if laying on a soft surface the sound is muffled.
