• Step 2: Locate the two plastic pins on the taillight assembly. Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully pry the pins out of their sockets and remove the sockets.
• Step 3: The assembly should now fall away from the vehicle. Locate the bulb socket and disconnect the electrical wiring. Remove the bulb and socket from the assembly.
• Step 4: Connect the new LED bulb to the electrical wiring. Insert the LED into the assembly.
• Step 5: Place the assembly back in the cavity and insert the pins to complete assembly.
• Step 6: Repeat these steps for the opposite side.

When dealing with a cracked lens or upgrading to smoked taillights, it may also be necessary to replace the entire taillight assembly. While you’re at it, it’s recommended that the other assembly is replaced as well. These straightforward instructions will help you perform this simple task that takes about 30 minutes to complete for both sides.

• Step 2: Find and remove the two plastic pins securing the assembly. Then remove the pin sockets.
• Step 3: Pull the assembly away from the vehicle and disconnect the electrical harness. Discard the old assembly.

• Step 5: Secure the new assembly with the plastic pins.
• Step 6: Repeat these steps for the opposite side to complete installation.
